He joined Camperio SIM in 1990, where he structured and managed wealth management activities for the family office, before serving as Chief Executive Officer from 2000 to 2005. In 2006, he joined UBS Italia, where he established and developed the business with financial intermediaries (FIM) until 2013. In 2014, he took responsibility for the mid-market segment, focused on entrepreneurs, and in 2015 also assumed responsibility for the ultra-high-net-worth client segment. Maurizio Ceron has been Head of Wealth Management at Zurich Bank since its establishment in April 2023. He brings more than 20 years of experience in wealth management, having held senior positions throughout his career, as well as extensive experience in the banking sector. He began his career in 1998 at Finanza e Futuro (Deutsche Bank Group). He subsequently served as Institutional Relationship Manager within the Wealth Management division of San Paolo Group and as Head of Distribution for the Italian market at Citigroup Asset Management, where he contributed to the development of a shared product platform for the Retail Bank and Private Bank. Through his experience at Citigroup and the following two years at Raiffeisen Capital Management, Maurizio further strengthened his expertise in investment products, with a particular focus on funds, discretionary portfolio management, fixed income, equities and bonds. In 2008, he established the Italian branch of Legg Mason Global Asset Management, serving as Country Head until 2011, when he was appointed Head of Wealth Investment Advisory within Deutsche Bank’s Wealth Management division. In 2015, he joined the team that launched Indosuez Wealth Management’s operations in Italy, coordinating the team of specialists within the Markets Investment & Structuring area and contributing to the development of the Investment Products and Services platform. In 2019, he became Head of the bank’s Wealth Management Area, overseeing both the commercial network and the team of product specialists. Emanuela Girardi is one of Italy's leading artificial intelligence experts and educators, actively engaged in shaping AI policy at both the national and European levels. As President of ADRA (AI, Data and Robotics Association), she leads the European association established to develop the innovation ecosystem and support research, industry, and regulatory policy on AI in Europe, working alongside the European Commission. Girardi is also Founder and President of Pop AI (Popular Artificial Intelligence), a non-profit association created to explain, disseminate, and make artificial intelligence accessible, ethical, and understandable for citizens and businesses. As a MiSE Expert for the National AI Strategy, she was part of the high-level expert group appointed by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development to draft Italy's National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence. A board member of AIxIA (the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence), she also serves on its steering committee. Her main areas of interest include AI regulation, the ethical and social impact of new technologies, gender equality in STEM, and technology outreach. She has been recognized as one of the most influential women in the tech sector in Italy (Inspiring Fifty Italy award).
